BUBBLES

Bubble Photography Copyright 2015 (kidding...)

1. Bubbles were birthed in Chicago, in the 1940s. Kiddos have been blowing bubbles for over 400 years.

2. You can freeze a bubble. Only, bubbles generally pop after 2-3 seconds, so the temperature would have to drop almost immediately for it to freeze properly. I'm just praying that in 2050 there will be a prevalent facility to make this possible.

3. When bubbles gather together, it forms foam. That sentence sounds mildly like someone from a science textbook but in reality it's not technical, just a spoonful off the top of your cappuccino.

4. March 20-26 is National Bubble Week. I am pleased about this, and I think I will celebrate it, even if I am one of the 10 people on earth to do so.

5. I was browsing the world records in the bubble category, entries such as "biggest bubble," "longest bubble wall," and "most people blowing bubbles simultaneously." A title caught me off guard - "Most Bubbles Blown With Tarantula In Mouth." Apparently Ray Macaraeg, of San Jose, California, blew 119 bubbles in 30 seconds with a live tarantula in his mouth. What an interesting achievement.
